Miscells. verses, 1794 and 1795.

Manuscripts, in various hands, of a collection of 22 primarily lighthearted verses and letters composed by members of the Bowes family. The collection includes three riddles, a letter addressed to "Miss Fleming" in the voice of her "faithful humble Slave & Dog, Pincher" as well as Miss Fleming's reply in verse, and another series of verse-letters in the voice of a dog named Tinker. Other verse titles include "Mrs. Morgan to Mrs. Bently With Miss Polly Parrot's Compliments" and "Upon a Flower called the Hearts Ease painted by a young Lady."
